First Day of School

Off to School!
Carter was excited and ready for school! Sydney wasn't sure what to think, but seemed to like her new preschool. It was odd having them both gone, but wonderful when they got home!

Getting back in to the Groove

I am almost to the point of updating!!! We had a fun filled summer, and now we are trying to get back into a schedule. Out Internet is down, so I'll update when I can get to someones to update!!

Back to Utah

We had an extra day just to our self, we tried to hit the open house of the Oquirrh temple, but we missed it by a couple days. So we headed up to the copper mine. It was fun to see!

Neil and Carter took a little trip to Temple Square while I stayed and played with the girls. It looks like they had a good time.

On Bryans Farm there was a . . .

Bryan & Whit invited us to come to Bryan's folks house for the day. They were so wonderful to have us and the kids had so much fun!!! It was nice to see were Bryan grew up and understand all the stories he and Whit tell us about when they go & visit!
Bryan spent a good long time taking the kids on rides around the yard, they were in heaven!
I don't have all the pictures of this day yet, so I'll update when I do. So they have a great above the ground pool the kids had a blast jumping in and out of from the trampoline. Then the zip line was introduce, this is one of those times as a mom I needed to be hit on the head by the spirit for not listening. Carter was soooo excited when he heard about the zip line. So after he saw Uncle Bryan do it he could barely control himself he was so excited. Because the tree and the pool were he'd have to drop was a long distance they set up a ladder. Carter had to zip only 4 or so feet and then let go in the pool. I was videoing so when I saw him start and as soon as his weight hit his hands he dropped landing on the cement pad around the pool head on. It was a good 12+ feet high. Poor kid!!!! We were worried for a little bit, but after Bryan's magic tricks he slowly came around!
Jean & Sandra were there with the kids so it was nice to have all the Paul cousins together! Carter helped Uncle Bryan drive the tracker with us behind on the hay.
They had so much fun!
He drove us down by a river but we passed beautiful fields, we went passed the tall corn fields and around some other old farms. Adam was asleep with Jean before we hit the river.
Aunt Whitney is the best! It was a wonderful day!

Rock Climbing

Uncle Greg, my Dads brother owns an amazing rock gym in Utah that he invited us to after the reunion. We all went and had a great time climbing, the kids did surprisingly well, Brandon hit the top a couple times.
After climbing around we met Mom & Dad for a family dinner. This is all of us! I love my family, and I love when we are all together!

Park City

We use to come to Park City for the summers growing up with cousins. Grandma Paul had the Three Kings Condo. It was interesting to go back and see so many familiar things. Just like the steps behind us, the golf course across the street we use to set up lemonade stands and Eric would fish out golf balls from the pond. So many fun memories!
Then we hit the alpine slide. Neil & Carter had never done it. They were waiting for the chair lift.

We went in shifts, it was crazy, I use to go full throttle down the entire way when I was younger, not a chance now! What is happening to my fast streak?

Paul Reunion

Cousins at work.

While attempting to watch the kids while Sandra was doing yoga this was the only way I could keep these two from running away. But it worked!

Andelynne is at the top of my favorite peoples list. We have had so much fun over the years, she is one I never can get enough of! I was excited to see her new little one, Soile (I know I spelled that wrong). She was such a happy baby, so sweet! This was so fun to watch. We were in charge of games for the kids one afternoon. We did this in shifts, they were filled with balloons, they had to pop them using anything but their hands. They were bouncing off the table, against trees and rolling on the ground and each other, it was funny! One day they had it arranged so we could swim in the Crater, it was so nice and warm.

NERTS!!
The favorite part for me is the night games! This is were all the cousins and some wild aunts and uncles get to play and have fun! I am lucky because Neil is tired he goes to bed with the kids and I get to go out and play until all hours of the night. Our drug or choice is nerts. It is said that I cheat, but I can honestly say I don't. But when Andelynne and I are together we are unstoppable. Until a couple nights later we played somewhere else with face cards, I was trying to take it good but was loosing to the extreme!
Briton & Sandra
Karen & Ande
Whit, Heather, & Shawna (when we played face cards these guys were the ones to humble me!)
The morning yoga was a must for some, I liked watching!
Lake Day
Carter & I went on the raft then Sydney & I went. She loved it! We were going pretty slow so when I put her up top she thought that was great. She especially liked when Neil & Carter would pass on the wave runner.

Grandmas Funeral

It was a nice funeral, we almost were late for the viewing due to traffic from Idaho, but we made it. It was a sweet feeling to be standing in the large room with Grandma at the front and a full room of aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandchildren, great great grand kids, and many grand kids along with friends that loved her. She was loved, and I am so grateful for the family that I belong to because of her and her lives choices. She will be missed. I am glad she gets to see Grandpa now, and Diana whos life was so short, too short for a mom!

My Great Great Grandma & Grandpa wrote to there family in their journal wich was later copied and made into a book mark for us and it said . . .
"Remember we are all preparing for a great Family Gathering in Eternity. Plan to be ther."
