Crazy Hair Day

It was crazy hair day at school.  it is great what you can do with rolled baby socks,  couple popsicle sticks and rubber bands!  She had fun and it actually stayed in all day!

 Shelly is our wonderful nurse that helps with Sydney. We have had her for 5+ years, we love her and are so grateful she loves us despite our hectic unorganized nature! She was a little surprised to see Sydney get off the bus with her new due! I had to laugh later that night when Neil was commenting that I was out of control for what I do with her hair.  He didn't realize it was for school and thought I just did it that way for the heck of it.  Gotta love him!

I just thought Elizabeth looked cute, Carter looked goofy in a costume I think Sandra used when we were his age, and Christopher looked great! We were heading to Grandpa & Grandmas ward halloween party.  

 This has nothing to do with Halloween, this was Kate a couple weeks back, this is how she wonders the house!

mito awareness

As we are learning more about Mitochondrial Disease and are meeting great people it has been sad to watch some sweet little ones pass away and the urgency to educate and raise money and try to find a cure is coming stronger and stronger.  So in attempts to educate myself I thought Id pass little things on so others can learn about Sydney as well.  

The crazy is 2!

 Our cute little peanut is 2!! Happy Birthday Kate!  This picture is in black and white to try and cover up the bright red lipstick she got a hold of an hour before her party.  She helped Sydney with a little on her lips, neck, legs, arms and bed room carpet.  Of course it is my good stuff that doesn't come off.  Love it!  The twos officially have begun.  With Carter and Sydney we twos were great, threes were rough, but Kate is mixing it up a little I am banking and mentally prepping for both two and threes to be full of many more surprises!

A night of froot loop necklaces, and duck duck goose on the tramp you  can't go wrong!  Kate loved having Grandpa, Grandma, GG,Aunts and Uncles, and of course her cousins over to play!

 One of her exciting gifts she loved was a bag of balls for the tramp, her and Sydney now play out there all afternoon with those balls, until Carter comes out and starts pelting them.  She's crazy but we love her and wouldn't want her any other way!

My baby boy is 10!!

Crazy! Happy Birthday Carter!  He was a trooper, we had planned a three day family camp out with Grandparents and cousins coming up the last night, but with the weather  with positive rain we had to bag it last minute.  I don't know who was more bummed Neil or Carter! But we improved!

 He was so excited for his huge donut, it lasted him a good couple days!

 I don't feel older each year on my birthday, but I feel older each year on his birthday!

We went to Bounce U and let the kids go free on the giant bounce slides, houses, and obstacle courses. They had fun, with the girls Neil and I got as much of a work out as they did! Carter loved having Dallen there to run with! Sydney loves anything jumping so had an extra fun time, but by the end of the two hours they were all pretty sweaty and tired!

Who would have thought 10 years ago we would have a cute clan like this!

 This was his camping cake that was suppose to come up the last night with Sandra, but camping or no camping he got his camping cake.

 Carter and Dad share a birthday, Carter asked why we get pictures of him and Grandpa each year saying they don;t change that much.  So we showed him the first couple when he was little and he didn't comment on how he looked, he was just surprised how dark black Grandpas hair use to be.  We love you Grandpa!
