Random fun

Here are a couple things this Christmas break consisted of :

Kate is a nut, she will go off on Carters skate board down the street and love life!  She is so funny.

 Fixing the sprinklers, selling the red car and finally paying off the last student loans!!!

 We'd catch a nap here and there when we could!

 Carter and Neil got the world largest gummy worm.  3 pounds of sugar, good thing we have dental insurance!!!

 Kate is an official bike rider.  She just takes off, all we had to do was lower the seat. She being the way she is is a mandatory helmet girl!!!

 A couple games of chess here and there.  Grandpa is still undefeated!

 Kate loved watching Pams skydiving movie. She'd hunt down Chip and ask to watch grandma jump from the airplane.  When it was over she'd cheer and say "she did it!" and then ask to watch it again. We all enjoyed watching it, but she took it to a new level!

Grandma Skydiving

Pam is an animal!!! I am so glad we did it Friday and not make her stew all weekend till Monday! She was excited but when she was waiting she just wanted to get things going!!!  Carter was a bit worried for her. When her good by to Kate was short he felt she should take a little longer, just in case!  I was glad we could all go and watch. I am sure Carter will never forget watching his Grandma jump from a plane!

 Its crazy, they do a back flip from this plane.  After she was done we asked about the flip and she said she didn't do one.  So when we got the pictures and video back it was crazy to see it!

Christmas Night

I don't know if I trust Carter with a sling shot or Dal with a bow and arrow, I just know they are facing Grandpas window!

Merry Christmas

Normally Christmas morning the kids get up early and we start opening gifts. Well, this year around 3:00am one of the fire alarms started cherping.  So not shortly after I can hear ladders moving around, the churping still going and then more ladders.  I am in and out of sleep and the around 5 I hear Kate.  Supposedly she'd been up since 3.  I got her down around 6:15 and by then Carter was up. Poor kid was just sitting on the coach waiting to open gifts.  So there he sat for an hour or so while Grandpa, Dad and especially Kate along with the rest of us tried to get a little more sleep. Thank goodness Grandma had a fun game on her Ipad so he was fine sitting and playing.  

 I was sooo excited to watch Kate Christmas morning.  But have to admit she wasn't what I thought she'd be.  Maybe because we woke her up after little sleep. But she set eyes on Carters Pringles in his stocking and sat and ate those most of the morning. I would ask her to open a gift and she'd say "no". I'd open it a little so she could see inside and she still said "no" she wanted to eat her pringles.  That little stinker.  next year that is all she is getting!

 We loved having Grandpa & Grandma here for Christmas!

 Carter got hooked on Duck Tales this summer, so he was supper excited to get the whole set!

 Pam and I had a conversation about things she's always wanted to do.  Skydiving was one of those things.  We talked to a friend that had done it and worked with Chip, and that was her surprise for Christmas. 

 After Sydney found her marble run she didn't have much interest for opening any other gifts. I am gald she liked it!

 Carter and Dal had fun with their helicopters. I was shocked with a couple days had passed and they weren't broken!

 Sydney loves her stethoscope.  When we are at the hospital she always trys to take the nurses, she knows they are a little better quality than hers.  Not anymore, now she has some that are like theirs.  She checked everyones heart numerous time!

 The girls had fun with their scooters. Kate is crazy fast on hers, but when she'd fall it didn't thrill her much!  She just needs to slow down just a little!

Christmas Eve

 Christmas Eve and Mom and Dads.  We get Grandpas enchiladas. . . so good!

 We always end the night acting out the nativity. Carter was Joseph, and Sydney was Mary.  Kate was the absenty Jesus.  She was all over the place.
